I understand that the term "Evangelisich" is a more broad classification closer to what us American English speakers would call a protestant so please understand this is about a specific type of practice that is most prominent in America but is practiced in other places. It is a very big and very profitable mind control cult. I say this with no exageration whatsoever. That is objectively what it is.
Purity culture in and of itself has a shitload of problems I could make a page about this concept alone.
They teach a perverted version of tithing where they convince their congregations that the more they give the church the richer god will make them. They don't give to the poor because they believe the poor, no matter how infirm, have to "pull their weight like the rest of us." so of course no one can get a warm meal except the prosperity preists telling eeryone to give their money to them. They also believe that hoarding wealth in and of itself is tithing.
Every other branch of Christianity would view this description of tithing as complete heresy. While tithing is generally described or understood to be giving to the church, the church is expected to do 1 thing with that money and that is to spend it on their community directly through things like feeding the homeless.
When preaching the prosperity gospel they often simultaneously preach that empathy is a sin. They describe empathy as a means to which the devil will tempt 2 parties to sin at the same time. They describe people who suffer from homelessness and addiction as "sinners who want to drag you down with them" anyone who is generally a "have not" is a burden in their rhetoric. They weight others down for no real reason in the American Evangelical perspective.
This ideology is unflinchingly as cruel as it can possibly be to the benefit of only the ghouls who make millions preaching this stuff on television.
Evangelicalism is a death cult. They want the world to end, that's why they never stop talking about the end times and the rapture. The allure of the cult is convincing people that acting like a selfish asshole makes you a GOOD person actually, because everyone else is going to hell in 3 days! Who cares if your boss fired you for saying slurs, money is a worthless worldly item and you're already rich in the spirit of god so like fuck that guy he's woke and gay! Your children don't talk to you anymore because you sent them to conversion therapy? They're destined for hell anyway, thank god I'm not! I just have to wait 200 more days for Christ to come back.Did i say he was coming back in 10 days? I meant he's coming back in like 10 weeks. Okay fine I'm not sure when he's coming back but like eventually J man will get here and clear things up for me and I won't hate myself anymore.
Honestly, picking apart their logic is worthless because this has nothing to do with logic. Their lives are so terrible they want to die but instead of just killing themselves they want to take all of us out with them. I know it's brutal but it needs to be said they think everything the world has produced, is producing and will continue to produce is worthless because it is worldly. They only talk about media they hate because they hate all media. They hate all aspects of every modern culture. These people hate their bosses and their families and they all know they only have fake surface level friends. Of course, addressing their mental health is woke nonsense so naturally the only solution is to fucking kill us all.
The CIA and FBI are known to favor missionaries in their applicants and hiring process because of their ability to infiltrate communities easily and ability to blend in.
