"What is a zine?"
The term zine is short for minizine, it makes sense that a tiny magazine would be describe in a short and cute word! Zines are characterized as short, straight to the point self published works. Anyone can make a zine on just about anything and frankly, that's why they hold appeal to yours truly. They've always held a very heavy association with punk, queer, anti-institutional and underground culture.
