Our cities were made car centric in America with the vision of creating seamless racial and class division. Nobody wants to look at homeless people so instead of giving them houses we just send them to jail or to a different city. This page exists to make people think critically about why our neighborhoods are supposedly designed with "safety first" in mind but there isn't a single safe place to walk. Without a car, you can't realistically go anywhere in the US and we need to fix that NOW!
